About the Founder or Team

Mercury is a dumpster diver and a queer, Appalachian, self-taught artist. They primarily work with acrylic paint and gouache, but also work with textiles. They are also an amateur metal-smith. Across mediums, they tend to stick to an abstract style inspired by nature, the collapse of capitalism, mental illness, and southern queer culture.

Production Process

In all art forms, I do what feels right. While things like knitting and sewing, often have a stricter production process, I let my mind and body work on their own to create most of my work.
